The Jabberwocky
Viciously, piercing eyes illuminate the dusk, The fearsome Jabberwocky with ferocious fangs. "Look out!" they shriek from all around, Falling like dominoes in its path, As the timid Moon hid behind a heroic cloud. Scratching the ground with fatal claws, Galloomping back towards its glomoly lair. A deadly demon from a world beyond, What summoned it to our familiar shores? Viciously, piercing eyes illuminate the dusk. King of the skies, God of the seas, Is anyone safe from its lethal jaws? Legions of valiant soldiers fought bravely, Yet, legions of valiant soldiers have failed! Beware its wings of terror, as they slice through the murky air! Beware its putrid, poisonous breath! So flee, you fools, from this repugnant foe, Or stay and face its fiery wrath! The choice is yours, but remember this: You are no match for the Jabberwocky.... By Mr Protheroe |
